The unit is housed in a robust ABS plastic shell with a stainless-steel reinforced triangular opening. This makes it suitable for attaching a lanyard or key ring without reducing durability. This portable model is equipped with a rechargeable 350mAh battery and takes roughly one hour to reach a full charge. The battery offers up to four days of uninterrupted operation. This model features a simple on/off switch, a USB charging port.. The device must be used with a USB charger. If charging difficulties arise, the charger type should be checked.

The Phi Series Portable is intended for use while moving between protected environments and is not designed to cover larger rooms or indoor areas. For extensive coverage, it should be paired with the Phi Series Hex Cube.
